Application Requirements

Streetlights is a non-profit job training, job placement and career advancement program founded to assist economically and/or socially disadvantaged young minority men and women to create ethnic diversity

in commercial, feature and television production.

 

Below are the requirements and procedures to follow for application to the Streetlights program:

You must submit
2 letters of recommendation

You must be at least

20 years of age

You must be low-income / economically disadvantaged

You must live in or near

Los Angeles County

You must have registered with Selective Service

You must have a car and valid auto insurance

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This training program is not for everyone. You must be in good physical shape and able to lift 50 lbs. It is a very tough and competitive field.  If you really want to be in the Entertainment Industry, it takes is a strong work ethic, a good attitude, punctuality and common sense.
 

Initially these are freelance positions. This is not a steady 40-hour, 9 to 5 business. This is an entry-level position into the Entertainment Industry with the potential for professional advancement and financial growth - depending on the Participant and his/her interests. 
 

Streetlights accepts a limited number of candidates annually. Our selection process is rigorous, but the rewards are great.
